IT's SHOW TIME INFO:
The More The Merrier: Please invite all the friends and family you can! This show isn’t just for skaters it’s a fun event for all!
Dress Rehearsal: will be Saturday the 17th 2:00-3:30pm-isg (we cut your practice down from the original time). We ask that all skaters arrive at 1:40 with their tights on (and leotards if you ordered them). Your Costumes will be in the locker room with your name on them please change into the costume. After the practice is over please make sure you hand your costume up then put your labeled costume bag over their costumes and tie it off at the bottom. DO NOT TAKE IT HOME. Make sure you have the bag and label on it. All locker rooms are needing to stay opened door at all times in addition we ask skaters to use the bathroom located in the lobby.. So to recap: Tights on- come to practice by 1:40- go and find your costume- practice starts at 2:00 runs till 3:30ish- Leave the costume labeled with the bag on top.

SHOW DAY: Sunday the 18th. We have two shows 12:30 & 5:30pm.  I recommend skaters arrive 45min early (to each show). We do start the shows on time! Skaters' hair and makeup should be done before arriving. Skaters' hair and makeup can be whatever they want and makes them feel awesome as long as it's out of their face. I do ask that skates do not put big bows in their hair (we want everyone to match the rest of the group).
Step By Step On The Show Day: When you arrive you will go through the Drop off curtain at this point help your skater find and get into their costume as well as get them into their skates (we ask skaters to have their nude leotard on or to change in the bathroom). After your skater is “ready to go” check in with coach Stephanie/emma/Leslie if you are basic low or coach Becky if you are basic high after that parents you are free to go till after your skater's performance.

Once the show starts your skater will come out for 2 numbers (opening then their group number). Once your skater is done with their group number (not the opening) we will have them back by the drop of curtain. We ask that you come and get them and allow them to watch the rest of the first half with you in the stands.
Once intermission is over (unless the coaches tells you otherwise:) happens bring them back, change their skirts and check back in with the coach. From this point we will keep them backstage for their second group and the closing. In total your skater will come out twice in the first half and twice in the second.

Skaters are welcome to leave in between the shows.
t forget the layers, coats, gloves and blankets to keep the kiddos warm!

Additional Show Information for Learn to Skate:
The most important part is for skaters to have fun! We want to create a safe space for skaters to be on the big stage and preform infant of their friends and family.
PRACTICES: Learn to skate or "LTS" skaters may participate in the show if they are registered for one or both days of LTS. We do ask that all LTS skaters try to make it to all Sunday practices listed above. Groups will be divide into two groups LTS "high" (basic 2-6) and LTS "low" (Snowplow sam- Basic1). LTS skaters will work on two group numbers during their tuesday & Thursday practices & will learn the opening and closing number during the Sunday practices.

COSTUMES: Group show costumes will be measured (we will be doing this before a practice and send a email on exact times), ordered and supplied by SCJH. SCJH will do it’s best to ensure a good fit but, skaters/parents need to understand show costumes might be a little big or tight since they are all stock. We do not supply skaters with their needed tights (these are not dancing tights and need to be skating nude tights) or Leotards. Hard guards are not a must but they are nice to have at the show. We do suggest you order these sooner rather than later!

Parent of a LTS show skater: In order for us to put on our production SCJH Show board may be asking those who are willing to put in some volunteering prior or at the show.

 Advanced & Aspire :

Additional Show Information for Aspire & Advanced:

Show costumes: will be measured, ordered and supplied by SCJH. SCJH will do it’s best to ensure a good fit but, skaters/parents need to understand show costumes might be a little big or tight since they are stock. Solo/Duet costumes will need to be approved by the Event Director and will be an additional charge if purchasing a new performance costume. Skating tights (and nude leo if skater desires) will need to be supplied by the skater. Order Here: tights, Leotards. Hard guards

Duet/Solos: Upon your skater being awarded a solo (for Advanced) or duet/trio(for Aspire Level), Parents will need to contact, book and pay for private lessons with the coach managing that performance. SCJH Director will be placing duet skaters together and be giving skaters their music.

Practices: We also understand that scheduling conflicts/sickness may happen but, we do ask and expect that skaters make it too as many practice as possible (the complete schedule is below)! The show practice schedule allows us to spend two Sundays on each group number. Your skater will be in opening, closing, first half group number & a second half group number (as well as their solo or duet). Skaters that miss back to back practice will be pulled from the group number since they will have missed all the choreography. This does not mean they will not be in the show, it just means that they will not be in that group number or in the same capacity of the group they missed. We always do our best to try to make it work but having so many skaters missing practices in the past has made it challenging. Please do your best to make it to as many practices as possible.

Aspire/Advanced Parents: In order for our show to run we have a mandatory ask that one guardian signs up for a volunteer spot on show day. SCJH Show board ask that you are willing to put in addition volunteering prior to the show.
