General Info about your skaters upcoming performance (this info was also sent in an  email)
PLEASE REVIEW ALL THE INFO BELOW TO HOPEFULLY ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS.

PLAN AHEAD: We will some have snacks available for purchase (but you can bring more). Please bring warm layers and blankets.  WE ASK THAT All Skaters arrive before 12:45pm (at the latest) with tights/leotards on and ready to go meaning: make-up and hair done. All Skaters will need to have skates and costumes on before 1pm so skaters can either go to practice ice or group photos (we do ask that all skaters are in their group photo)- Please see schedule below.

PLEASE NOTE: You do not have to have individual photos taken. This is an option and an additional cost (much like school-photos) but we do ask that everyone makes their group photo in their group LTS costume. If your skater is in aspire of advanced please just make sure they are in a skating dress.  All individual off the ice photo time slots will need to be booked through sign-up genius and paid for through Reaction Photography. If you are booking additional off the ice photography times that may affect when you are needing to arrive.

ONCE YOU ARRIVE:  Go into your changing area (LTS Skaters will use the Locker rooms and Aspire and Advanced skaters will use the tunnel). Please immediately get your skaters costume  and skates on (LTS costumes will be labeled and a sign will be posted on which skirt you will put on first… please take the second skirt and change them into it after their first group number) . We do ask due to Safesport that all locker room doors stay open at all times and if skaters do not have a nude leotard on that they change in the bathroom. No parents will be allowed in the tunnel changing area to help Aspire/Advanced skaters. To make all this easier we do strongly encourage everyone to have hard guardsJ

AFTER YOUR SKATER IS LACED UP: Your skater will either have group photos taken or go straight on the ice for their practice time (Please see schedule below) after twenty minutes they will swap and either go on the ice for practice of get group photos taken.

After Practice/group photos: Once the Exhibition starts and your LTS skater does their opening number and first group number they are welcome to go watch from the stand with you where you can change their skirts to go out for their second group number. Please have them back to their coach/entrance 3 skaters before their second group number starts from there we will keep them and their coats/blankets till after the closing. All skaters are welcome to watch from the stand till they go out to preform we just ask that you are back by your entrance 3 skaters before your number happens.

Note: This Exhibition is much lower key than our Holiday show. This is all about fun and enjoying all of our skaters performances. We will have tons of coaches around day of so please do not hesitate to ask questions before or day ofJ There will be a lot of down time for your skater so bring a lot of snacks and layers. This Exhibition is free (donations are welcome) to watch so invite as many friends and family you can!!!!!
We do ask that all skaters come out in the closing!

Things you need for the show:
Skates
Skating tights- Have you ordered or purchase through Sandy?
Nude leotard- make costume changes easy. Have you ordered?
Skating guards- makes it easier to take skaters up in the stand (or you can just take their skates off in-between performances since most skaters will have time)
Costumes- For LTS We will keep all LTS costumes till day of. We will have all costumes labeled. Please find your costume (that will have two skirts) day of.
More Information for Learn to Skate:
The most important part is for skaters to have fun! We want to create a safe space for skaters to be on the big stage and preform in front of their friends and family.

GROUP NUMBER PRACTICES: Learn to skate or "LTS" skaters may participate in the show if they are registered for one or both days of LTS. Groups will be divide into two groups LTS "high" and LTS "low" (Snowplow sam- Basic1). LTS skaters will work on two group numbers during their Tuesday/Thursday practices from 4:15-4:30 starting 1/17/23.

GROUP NUMBER COSTUMES: Group show costumes will be measured (we will be doing this before a practice and send a email on exact times), ordered and supplied by SCJH. SCJH will do it’s best to ensure a good fit but, skaters/parents need to understand show costumes might be a little big or tight since they are all stock. We do not supply skaters with their needed tights (these are not dancing tights and need to be skating nude tights) or Leotards. Hard guards are not a must but they are nice to have at the show.
GROUP NUMBER COST: $140.00/$150.00- This includes all practices, your show fees and your skaters costume (Tights and Nude leotards not included). This can be added through Active.

SOLO/DUET: All currently enrolled LTS skaters can do a solo or duet in addition to the group number (or by itself). Skaters will need to book and pay for lessons, ice time and music editing through the SCJH coach. In addition to the cost of lessons, ice time and music editing, solo/duet skaters will need to pay $30.00 for their first performance fee and $20.00 for their second solo or duet performance fee. In general skaters generally need about 90min of lesson time to choreograph a solo or duet. Solo & Duet performance fees can be added through active. Please note: Skaters will need to supply their own costumes for their solo/duet.
