Summer Ice General info
Ice will run 7/28-8/24 (4 weeks) On:
Tuesdays From;
3:15-4:25pm Aspire/AA Freestyle ice (70min)
4:25-4:55 Summer Learn to Skate Group Class
4:55-5:15 LTS Group Class Practice Ice (20 min included in the group class fee )
Fridays from;
7:15am-8:45am Aspire/AA Freestyle ice (90min)*

- Aspire and Advanced level skaters can buy a Summer Freestyle Ice pass (one day or two day option) through active.
- Drop in's on the AA/Aspire freestyle will need to have their coach confirm if there are spots available. Spots will not be guaranteed and we can't confirm weekly availability of drop in spots.
- All participates must be a member of the club.
- All Skaters participating in summer ice must be paid in full (with no prior balances) before stepping on the ice.
- Coaching staff will need to be an active member of SCJH's coaching team as well as up to date on their certification.
- All private Lesson will need to be booked and paid for directly through the coach
- Aspire and Advanced skaters who are not wanting to buy a pass may do do the drop in day rate ONLY.
- All Learn to Skate skaters wanting to skate on Aspire/AA freestyle will need to be in a private lesson at all times and pay the drop in rate for 30mins as well as their lesson fee to their coach(due to safety). LTS skaters will need to exit the ice immediately following the end of their lesson. Please reach out if you are unsure what level your skater is. We encourage LTS skaters to sign up for the Tuesday group class and use the group class practice ice time that is included to skate/take a private lessons.

Class Days: Tuesday from 4:25-4:55
Class Practice time On Tuesday From: 4:55-5:15 (20 min included in the group class fee )
Low Level: For beginners, including Basic 1 (ages 6+) and Snowplow Sam (ages 3-5).
Medium Level: For skaters who are comfortable skating backward, covering Basic 2- Basic 3
High Level: For skaters in middle school or in Basic 4- Basic 7 - (if your skater just recently passed into Aspire this is a great refresh)
Adult LTS: 18 years and older skaters wishing to continue their work and cool off, come skate with us!
Notes for Summer LTS Group Class Participants:
-These class includes mixed levels and will be combined, so progression through certain levels will take more than 4 classes so no testing will happen at the end of the summer ice. We will however adjust your skaters level accordingly before the start of the fall semester!
Equipment:
-Skates: Bring your own skates or skate rental is available for a nominal fee during registration.
-Skate Guidelines: Ensure that skates offer proper ankle support—plastic, unsafe skates are not allowed. Skates with ankle support can be found on platforms like Amazon.
**Helmets:** Required for all Snowplow Sam and LTS Hockey skaters, and recommended for all new skaters.

Thinking About Doing a Day Drop-In or Private Lesson Drop-In?
- Check Ice Availability First :Drop-ins must be approved in advance. Sessions are capped for safety and quality, so drop-ins are not guaranteed.
- Aspire/Advanced Academy Skaters: Must pay the day drop-in fee plus an annual Club Membership fee. Please note that if your skate is in AA/aspire the 30 min lesson drop in is not available.
- Learn to Skate (LTS) Skaters: Must pay for a 30-minute drop-in session plus an annual Learn to Skate Membership.
- Payment: Please Venmo the club before stepping on the ice.
